We planted fruit trees in our summer house, and my husband lovingly took care of them. One day we started harvesting fruits from our own garden. That is when the idea of making dried fruits and starting a family business was born.

From the very beginning, I decided to produce dried fruits without any chemicals, drying them naturally under the sun, especially for Armenians around the world.

One of the most important decisions we made was to leave the comfortable city life and move to Ptghni to live in our summer house. It took a few years to adapt to village life and learn how to properly take care of the trees. Over the years, I gained the necessary skills, but throughout the production process I always prioritized our traditional Armenian recipes and the methods of our grandmothers.

I later participated in the UNDP program, and after going through multiple stages, I became one of the beneficiaries. Thanks to UNDP, our production facility was equipped with machinery, the workspace was adapted according to food safety standards, and I officially became a private entrepreneur.

My approach is to always look into the customer’s eyes, understand their needs, listen with care, and provide the best. I started inviting customers to our facility for tasting and direct sales — they could see the conditions, the process, and meet the people behind the production. Everyone appreciated both the quality and our warm attitude.

Today, my goal is to increase production volumes and start exporting to foreign markets.
